OKLAHOMA SENATE BILL 1106
Sen. Rob Standridge has filed Senate Bill 1106, the “Citizen Health Mandate Protection Act,” aimed at both public and private entities and individuals that require vaccines or other medical treatments as a condition of employment.
“Many Oklahomans may not know that COVID-19 vaccines have already been given liability protection from the federal government,” Standridge said. “If an employee is required to receive the vaccine or some other medical treatment as a condition of employment and it causes that person harm, our citizens need to know they’ll have some recourse that will provide them with meaningful relief. That’s what my legislation will do.”
Those employers could be liable for $1 million in punitive damages if something goes wrong with that medication or treatment. Standridge’s legislation will be considered in February. [ Article ]

FBI email servers hacked to send fake alerts to thousands
The attackers used legitimate FBI systems to carry out the attack, scraping email addresses from the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) database, among other places.
In at least two waves, fake emails were sent to over 100,000 addresses.

Skywatchers are in for a treat on November 19, as the century’s longest partial lunar eclipse will take place. It is also the longest such eclipse in nearly 600 years.
When the moon passes into the Earth‘s shadow, a lunar eclipse occurs. According to Indiana’s Holcomb Observatory, located on the campus of Butler University in the United States, the partial eclipse will last 3 hours, 28 minutes, and 24 seconds, and the full eclipse will last 6 hours and 1 minute, making it the longest partial eclipse in 580 years.
“Longest partial eclipse of the century to occur in the pre-dawn hours of November 19th. This will also be the longest partial lunar eclipse in 580 years!” the observatory tweeted.

Dave Belvin, Lockheed Martin’s vice president of Sensors and Global Sustainment, explained:
This flight demonstrates a critical sensor capability that enables unmanned combat air vehicles like the Avenger to operate autonomously in Joint All-Domain Operations.
We designed Legion Pod to passively detect and track targets for tactical fighter pilots in radar-denied environments. Two shallow earthquakes registered by the USGS as M6.0 and M6.4 hit southern Iran's Hormozgan Province at 12:07 and 12:08 UTC (15:37 and 15:38 LT) on November 14, 2021. The agency is reporting depths of 5.6 km (3.5 miles) and 10 km (6.2 miles), respectively. EMSC is reporting them as M6.0 and M6.3 at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles). The Iran Seismological Center is reporting the first quake as M6.4 and the second as M6.3, both at a depth of 15 km (9.3 miles).
The epicenters of both earthquakes were located about 63 km (39 miles) NNW of Bandar Abbas (population 352 173) and 88 km (55 miles) NNW of Qeshm (population 25 000), Hormozgan, Iran.

Scorpion invasion in Egypt after extreme hail and thunderstorms – Over 500 people treated
More than 500 people got bitten by scorpions in Egypt’s southern province of Aswan. Officials report that strong hail storms and heavy rain forced scorpions out of their burrows and into the streets and people’s houses.
“503 residents in Aswan got antidotes for scorpion bites … there were no deaths from the bites,” Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said in a Saturday statement.
