Wisconsin hospital says employee intentionally discarded coronavirus vaccine vials

“We immediately launched an internal review and were led to believe this was caused by inadvertent human error. The individual in question today acknowledged that they intentionally removed the vaccine from refrigeration,”  the hospital said in the statement Wednesday. 
“We are more than disappointed that this individual’s actions will result in a delay of more than 500 people receiving their vaccine. This was a violation of our core values, and the individual is no longer employed by us,” the hospital added.

The hospital stated that the “appropriate authorities” had been notified for investigation into the incident.

The use of remote viewing to predict notable public events has a long and spotted history. Failures at using remote viewing to predict the future are abundant although under-reported in the scientific literature, a recognized phenomenon tied to the undesirability for researchers to publish negative results. Contrarily, remote viewing current and past events is not nearly as problematic, and the use of structured remote-viewing methodologies of the type developed by the United States military has been shown to be relatively effective as data-collection platforms (see especially Brown 2006, McMoneagle 2000, Puthoff 1996, Targ 1996, Puthoff & Targ 1979). The current study uses a new experimental design to investigate a novel approach to tasking that greatly enhances the accuracy of remote viewing in describing future events.

Record-breaking bomb cyclone engulfs Alaska and northern Pacific Ocean with winds topping 100 mph and 45-foot waves

On Thursday morning, the National Weather Service’s Ocean Prediction Center confirmed that the storm is already generating 110 mph winds. On satellite imagery, the storm appears as a giant comma shape swirl of clouds, a textbook appearance for a strong non-tropical weather system. The European model predicts the storm’s pressure to bottom out at 919.9 millibars around 9 or 10 a.m. Eastern time Thursday. The two northern Pacific cyclones that set records in 2014 and 2015 saw their pressures level off at around 924 millibars.

U.S. warships travel Taiwan Strait; China warns against show of force

For the second time this month, U.S. warships on Thursday sailed through the sensitive Taiwan Strait, prompting China to denounce the "provocative actions." The United States said guided-missile destroyers USS John S. McCain and USS Curtis Wilbur conducted a routine transit through the strait between eastern Nationalist China and the democratically run island of Taiwan that China views as a rouge province.

"The ship's transit through the Taiwan Strait demonstrates the U.S. commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific," the U.S. Navy's 7th Fleet said in a statement. "The United States military will continue to fly, sail and operate wherever international law allows."

France to deploy 100,000 police on New Year's Eve to impose 8pm curfew

France is set to deploy 100,000 police and gendarmes across the country on December 31 to help ensure that the nation's 8 pm curfew is observed on what is traditionally a party night. According to Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin, the law enforcement officers will also be on the streets on December 31 to ensure security because of France's high terror threat.

He said there would be a visible police presence in city centres and flashpoint suburbs from the start of the curfew at 8 pm.

Pentagon Orders Aircraft Carrier Out Of Gulf In Potential Iran De-Escalation (ZeroHedge)

In a first hopeful sign of potential US de-escalation in the Persian Gulf, where there's been a recent build-up of US forces as threats continue to be exchanged between Washington and Tehran, the Pentagon has announced it is bringing its only supercarrier in the gulf home.

The AP reports of the sensitive timing, "The decision, announced Thursday by the acting secretary of defense, Christopher Miller, came one day after Air Force B-52 bombers flew nonstop from the United States to the Persian Gulf in a show of force that military officials said was intended to caution Iran against carrying out attacks against U.S. forces or interests."

The Mideast and Gulf region constitute the USS Nimitz's normal area of operation over much of the past year. It's now being sent "home" to its US West coast base.
