Elon Musk Says He Has Raised The Funds Required To Buy Twitter
Elon Musk has secured funding for his bid to take Twitter private and considering taking his offer to shareholders directly.
Musk, became Twitter’s largest individual investor, informed the company’s board last week he intended to buy the entire company but did not specify how.
In a recent filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission, the billionaire Tesla CEO says he has $46.5 billion set aside to fund his $54.20 per share offer.
Morgan Stanley, Bank of America &many other institutions offered to finance $25.5 billion, backed by some of Musk’s Tesla shares.
Musk also stated that Twitter had not officially replied to his unsolicited offer in his filing. Dozens of New York City public school teachers will be placed on unpaid leave starting Monday for allegedly using a fake Covid-19 vaccine card.
As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, New York City Mayor Eric Adams fired 1,430 city employees who refused to receive the experimental Covid-19 shot. The list included 36 police officers, 25 firefighters, and 914 employees from the Department of Education.
“Fraudulent vaccination cards are not only illegal, they also undermine the best line of protection our schools have against COVID-19 — universal adult vaccination,” a spokesperson of the Education Department said in a statement.
“We immediately moved to put these employees — fewer than 100 — on leave without pay,” DOE added.

While AI techniques are already being used to make “deepfake” videos depicting events that never occurred, the new algorithm has the potential to discreetly change real photographs to affect the viewer’s perspective on their subjects.
“With the technology, it is possible to take a photo and create a modified version designed to give off a certain impression,” cognitive scientist and AI researcher Jordan W. Suchow of the Stevens Institute of Technology and co-author of the study said.
“For obvious reasons, we need to be careful about how this technology is used.”
Therefore, to protect its technology, the study team obtained a patent and is currently launching a firm to licence the algorithm for pre-approved ethical objectives.

The Anak Krakatoa volcano in Indonesia has erupted, shooting volcanic ash clouds into the sky and prompting authorities to advise locals to wear masks outside.
The Sunday explosion resulted in ash rising up to 3,000 metres into the sky, according to reports.
“We are still recording continuous eruptions with thick clouds towering between 500 to 3,000 metres from the peak,” Deny Mardiono of Indonesia’s Geological Agency stated.
“People, including tourists,” he continued, “should obey the Geological Agency’s recommendation, which prohibits anyone being within a two-kilometre radius of the crater.”
Anak Krakatoa, which translates to “Child of Krakatoa,” has exploded 21 times in recent weeks, but officials claimed Sunday’s eruption was the greatest ever recorded.
