DEBUNKED: CORPORATE MEDIA’S TOP TRENDING UKRAINE STORIES ARE COMPLETE FAKES
1. The Snake Island Martyrs (Zelenskyy said they "died heroically”...days later it was revealed that they were taken captive and alive)
2. The ‘Ghost of Kiev’ (video actually originated from a 2008 video game “Digital Combat Simulator”)
3. The Fake Farewell (dramatic image of children saying goodbye was taken in 2016)
4. It’s An Airsoft Gun… (Miss Ukraine goes off to war)
5. Straight From The Big Screen… Literally (footage of tearful goodbyes was pulled from a 2017 film “The War of Chimeras.”)
6. Anonymous Imposters (the notorious hacker group “Anonymous” did not threaten to launch massive cyberattacks against Russia)

There are more examples. The viral, fake stories come amidst social media platforms rolling out robust “fact-checking” operations, often used to swiftly censor stories counter to establishment narratives or critical of the Democratic Party. [ Article ]

“We've analyzed decades of State of the Union addresses to find the most-covered issues, then compiled the numbers behind those topics so Americans can measure the nation's progress with numbers instead of rhetoric. Dive into the data.”

“As usual, Americans are lying. Because there is no ‘invasion’. Instead, there is a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify the Ukrainian regime. Demilitarization – because it was the United States that was behind the pumping of the criminal gang with weapons, which barbarically destroyed the civilian population of Donetsk and Lugansk, including children,” said the Russian Embassy.

They also accused the United States of “filling Ukraine with biolabs, which were – very possibly – used to study methods for destroying the Russian people at the genetic level.”

“Denazification – because the United States was the one that encouraged the neo-Nazi tactics and strategy of the Banderas from Kiev, by essentially preventing Ukraine, as a party to the Minsk Agreement, from fulfilling its obligations,” they say.

Google disables Maps traffic data in Ukraine

The features use location data collected from smartphones to show where there are traffic delays and which businesses are busy. Experts say such data could offer insight into the progress of the invasion. One open source intelligence (OSINT) expert said he saw signs of the Russian invasion early last Thursday after spotting unusual “traffic jams” at the Ukrainian border on Google Maps.

“I think we were the first people to see the invasion,” OSINT expert, Professor Jerry Lewis of the Middlebury Institute, said last week. “And we saw it in a traffic app.”

Google said the decision to disable these features was made to protect local users’ safety after consultation with Ukrainian authorities. The features have been disabled from global access, live traffic information will be available to drivers using navigation features in the region. It’s not clear if Google has ever disabled these features during previous conflicts or wars.
