Ukrainian aircraft at Ivano Frankivsk airport. A single missile damaged six MiG-29s? That's terrible planning to group that many jets together.

WHITE HOUSE ASKS CONGRESS FOR $6.4 BILLION FOR UKRAINE CRISIS
$2.9 billion will go towards security and humanitarian assistance not just for Ukraine, but also to the Baltics, Poland, and other regional countries.
The remaining $3.5 billion will go to the Pentagon “to respond to the crisis.” The total amount could change — some members of Congress think more money needs to be spent. Sen. Chris Coon (D-DE) said the US might need to spend around $10 billion. Clearly pulling that number out of his ass.
Over the past year, the US has given Ukraine over $650 million in military aid and $52 million in humanitarian assistance. The Pentagon said Friday it wants to send even more weapons to Ukraine and is working out ways to do so...just as Russia closes in. [ Article ]

Here's why sanctioning the Central Bank of Russia could prove devastating - the true "nuclear" option in the West's financial arsenal. Russia currently holds about $640 billion in reserves. About 32% held in euros, 22% in gold, 16% in dollars, and 13% in Yuan.
This chart shows Russia's inflation-adjusted total reserves (monetary gold, IMF reserves, and forex reserves held by central bank). $300B in reserves are held abroad. Freezing those will prevent the Bank of Russia from using them for things like currency interventions or transfers.
“Sanctioning Russia’s central bank is likely to have a dramatic effect on the Russian economy and its banking system, similar to what we saw in 1991,” said Elina Ribakova, deputy chief economist for the Institute of International Finance. "This would likely lead to massive bank runs and dollarization, with a sharp sell-off, drain on reserves and, possibly, a full-on collapse of Russia’s financial system."

Looks like a more purposeful assault headed into Kharkiv now. Needs geolocation.
T1 Researcher Analysis: Why send a small convoy of lightly armored cargo vehicles into a city of 1.4 million with zero protection from heavier armored vehicles like a tank? Makes no sense.
