Yi, who gave up her citizenship to become a Chinese citizen so she could compete for the communist govt’s genocide Olympics, finished with the lowest score for the entire event in Beijing on Saturday after falling during her performance.
In 2018 the American-born skater changed her name to a more Chinese-sounding name, dumped her U.S. citizenship, and announced her desire to become a Chinese Olympian.
Three others defected to to represent China in the Olympics: California-born Freeskier Eileen Gu decided to throw in with the communists, just like Yi did. Gu also changed her name to a more acceptable Chinese name. Intense Tropical Cyclone "Batsirai" hits Madagascar, destroying entire villages
Tropical Cyclone "Batsirai" made landfall between Nosy-Varika and Mananjary on the east coast of Madagascar around 17:00 UTC on February 5, 2022. At the time of landfall, Batsiari was Category 3 hurricane equivalent on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale with minimum central pressure of 944 hPa.
While damage assessment is still in progress, Batsirai's destructive winds and heavy rain devastated the landfall area, destroying homes, causing power outages and leaving at least 6 people dead. However, officials fear the number will rise in the days ahead.

Red alerts issued for parts of Iceland as intense snow and blizzards hit the country
Parts of Iceland were placed on Red Alert on Monday, February 7, 2022, due to a violent bomb cyclone affecting the country today. Wind gusts could reach up to 200 km/h (124 mph).
Red Alert for weather was issued for South Iceland and Faxafloi - Southwest Iceland.
Orange Alert is in effect for Breidafjordur - Westnorthwest Iceland, Westfjords, Northwest Iceland, Northeast Iceland, East Iceland, Eastfjords, Southeast Iceland and Central highlands - Uninhabited part of Iceland.
Faxaflói and South can expect winds with speeds between 85 - 110 km/h (55 - 70 mph), snow, and blowing snow. Sleet or rain are expected closest to shore. There is a high risk of damages and contractors are encouraged to secure building sites.

Biden was ready to dole out payouts of $450,000 to every border crosser involved in the case — costing about $1 BILLION in American taxpayer money — more than was given to the American victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Since that failed, they are now seeking to provide them with amnesty to permanently resettle in the U.S.
Amnesty would be far more lucrative than the previously-circulated $450,000 payouts as it would allow them to secure green cards, and eventually, naturalized citizenship allowing them to bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S. through the process known as “chain migration.” [ Article ]

HYUNDAI AND KIA ARE TELLING THE OWNERS OF NEARLY 485,000 VEHICLES TO PARK OUTDOORS BECAUSE THEY CAN CATCH FIRE — EVEN IF THE ENGINE IS OFF
The recalls from the two Korean automakers are another in a long string of fire and engine problems that have dogged the companies for the past six years.
This time the problem is contamination in the antilock brake control module that can cause an electrical short. Affected are certain Kia Sportage SUVs from 2014 - 2016, and the 2016 - 2018 K900 sedan.
Recalled Hyunda's include certain 2016 - 2018 Santa Fe SUVs, 2017 and 2018 Santa Fe Sports, the 2019 Santa Fe XL and 2014 and 2015 Tucson SUVs.
Dealers will replace a fuse. In addition, Hyundai dealers will inspect the control modules and replace them if needed. [ Source ]

PFIZER, FDA LOSE BID TO FURTHER DELAY RELEASE OF COVID VACCINE SAFETY DATA
A federal judge last week rejected a bid by the FDA and Pfizer to delay the court-ordered release of nearly 400,000 pages of documents pertaining to the approval of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine.
The first batch of documents produced in Nov. 2021, which totaled a mere 500 pages, revealed there were more than 1,200 vaccine-related deaths within the first 90 days following the release of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID vaccine.
The FDA must release redacted versions of the docs according to the following disclosure schedule:
▪︎10,000 pages apiece, due on or before March 1 and April 1, 2022
▪︎80,000 pages apiece, to be produced on or before May 2, June 1, and July 1, 2022
▪︎70,000 pages to be produced on or before Aug. 1, 2022
