Cascades Volcano Observatory geophysicists have detected a subtle increase in the rate of uplift of the ground surface about 5 km (3 miles) west of South Sister volcano, Oregon, U.S. Episodes of increased uplift have been observed in this area before, and the volcano’s alert level and color code remain at NORMAL / GREEN.
Data from satellite radar images show an uplift of about 2.2 cm (0.9 inches) occurred between the summer of 2020 and August 2021 across an area of 20 km (12 miles) in diameter. GPS data from a volcano monitoring station near the center of uplift measured at least 0.5 cm (0.2 inches) of uplift since August 2021.
Additionally, seismologists observed brief bursts of small earthquakes in October 2021, December 2021, and January 2022. After The Epoch Times reviewed a document explaining why the FDA approved Moderna’s COVID-19 jab, they submitted questions to FDA spokespersons. The document the disappeared from the agency’s website overnight. “We are aware of the issue and hope to have the document reposted as soon as possible,” a spokesperson told The Epoch Times on Feb. 3.
The Summary Basis for Regulatory Action offered more details about how regulators reached the approval decision, and included references to an unpublished analysis that found the rates of post-vaccination heart inflammation were higher than any U.S. agency had found before.
The Epoch Times has submitted Freedom of Information Act requests for the doc and several unpublished analyses referenced in it.
