Learning Prayers, Songs and Poems can be a good way to get a feel for the language. Saying a Rosary in Irish for example is fairly easy to get the hang of. St Patrick's Breastplate is also very easy to remember. Óró, 'sé do bheatha 'bhaile and Amhrán na bhFiann are also easy enough to learn. Being able to sing/recite them can be a big confidence boost. So I'll leave below a bunch of links of videos teaching you how to say certain Prayers/Songs/Poems.
