Poland Halts Payouts to Ukrainian Refugees

Poland will stop paying for hosting Ukrainian refugees starting Friday, having previously paid 40 zlotys (about $9) daily, for food and accommodations.

According to the Polish government’s refugee spokesman Pawlo Bossernaker, most refugees are already able to stand on their own feet.

An exception will be made for people with disabilities, families with many children and pregnant women.

Energy prices are due to go up by another 10% (electricity) and 32% (gas) by the end of next month.

If this trend continues we are looking at people freezing to death in winter. Growth rates of deposits continue to contract (as I've talked about before) and now we have next winter to look forward to.

The short term solution to this is to cut vat on energy to 0%. Martin was asked this by one of the independents and Martin's response to this was that would have a "windfall of 6 billion in Revenue"

Oh really? You found it easy to donate billions of euro to Ukrainians didn't you? Or six billion to a rotten NGO sector.

The next problem is throwing in the covid stuff on top of this. A spike in elderly deaths written off as covid, with those ISAG people jumping up and down calling for more lockdowns.
