While Official Ireland is more interested in beating the drum for hate crime legislation and casting blame on "the far-right" before the bodies are even cold, the international media appear to already be reporting facts about what is probably going to be called 'the grindr murders':
>The suspect, who is originally from the Middle East but is a naturalised Irish citizen living in Sligo
>He is said to have either overpowered his victims or convinced them to allow him to tie them up before torturing and killing them.
>The body of the first victim Aidan Moffitt, 42, was found inside his home in Cartron Heights on Monday night after his friends had failed to reach him. Moffitt had been beheaded, having sustained horrific injuries. His body was also mutilated.
>On Tuesday night gardai received a 999 call from someone who had found the body of Michael Snee, 58. The nature of his injuries led gardai to believe they were dealing with the same person who had killed Moffitt.
He's also the suspect in a third attack now which left a man with serious eye injuries. Got away lightly, perhaps.

North African parents get 14 years jail time each for causing catastrophic brain damage to their 9 year old daughter whom they believed had been possessed by an evil spirit.
The trial heard the girl had been regularly punched, beaten with a belt and a stick, choked, bitten and badly burned all over her body.
The girl will be dependent on carers for the rest of her life and can no longer walk, talk or sit independently.
The court heard the father told a detective that at one stage he carried out a ritual to get the "devil" or "djinn" to leave her body.
Judge Nolan said he took into account the fact that prison would be very difficult for them as they were foreign nationals who had difficulties with English — Bless.
There was no reaction from the father when sentences were imposed. The mother bowed her head.

At the Port of Shanghai alone there are 344 ships awaiting berth, a 34% increase in the last month, with warehouse-to-warehouse shipping taking 74 days longer than usual between China and the US.
Aggregate times of turnaround at Europe’s 3 largest ports, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg, have risen 8%, 30% and 21% respectively - with RBC analysts warning “things are getting worse”.
