NEW: Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar vows new โhate speechโ laws in response to the Dublin riots after a migrant stabbed multiple people.
What a coward.
The news comes as UFC legend Conor McGregor has come out swinging against Ireland's loose migration policy, saying the migrants should "never be here in the first place."
Varadkar is now using the riots to push anti-free speech laws through.
โI think itโs now very obvious to anyone who might have doubted it that our incitement hatred legislation is just not up to date. Itโs not up to date for the social media age and we need that legislation through and we need it through within a matter of weeks because itโs not just the platforms who have a responsibility here.โ
โThereโs also the individuals who post messages and images online that stir up hatred and violence and we need to be able to use laws to go after them individually as well.โ
