‘Greece Arming Itself Rapidly’: Turkish Diplomat Sheds Light on Ankara’s Concerns with West - RT INTERVIEW
Turkey’s disagreements with NATO run deeper than just going against the accession of Sweden and Finland, Uluc Ozulker, a Turkish diplomat and former ambassador told RT.
Another area of tension is the growing influence of Greece, who might soon lay claim to most of the Aegean Sea, Ozulker said.
The former official pointed out that despite Athens’ infamous money problems, it keeps spending on US arms. “Who’s financing them? And if they are to be considered a country in debt, how is this financing assured?”
