WIZARDS OF WISDOM

Anyone in Ireland today who attempts to question, not even oppose necessarily, just question why hundreds of unvetted asylum seeker claimants are being thrown into sometimes tiny communities where they immediately become a significant minority, and are increasingly becoming the majority, the cry goes up from people, hundreds of miles away, that they are not entitled to speak at all. If they are from the area they are told there will be consultation, not negotiation, but consultation on what it going to happen whether they like it or not. As the Tánaiste, soon to be Taoiseach again, Leo Varadkar says they have no right of veto over who, how many or how quickly outsiders from countries and cultures completely incompatible with the current local population are brought into the community. If there is, and there always is, an increase in criminality of the most brutal forms, particularly of sexual assault and rape, well sure wasn’t there some of that anyway before the Government imported it on purpose. Criminally bad Irish people, who incidentally are too often given lenient sentences or suspended altogether from accountability makes the extra only that bit more diverse. People get angry, people have a right to get angry, at the lax justice system already in place, and the deliberate importation of more.

If someone gives voice to that anger they are Far-Right. Firstly, so what? If the Far-Right are the only ones willing to speak up for the Irish people in their native land they are hardly to be faulted for that. The sensible person might even be drawn to the conclusion that whatever faults the Far-Right are implied as being guilty of if they are there to protect you daughters, sisters, and mothers from being raped it’s not really a thing at all where they place on the political spectrum. If the Far-Right have some opinions you don’t like, are you willing to have your wife raped to prove you don’t agree with them? Is the life of your daughter worth so little that you’d refuse her the protection of someone who is not familiar with Critical Race Theory in all its intersectional complexity?

But worse it seems that Far-Right, if the speaker is against the influx of hundreds and cumulatively hundreds of thousands of people, mostly men, from faraway Continents, and the speaker happens to live more than 5 miles from the DP Centre, then they are “outsiders”. Agitators too obviously, but most importantly “outsiders”. No right to voice an opinion of the profoundly local matter of whether the place should be full of Sudanese or Iraqis. Unwelcome even if their every word is cheered.

When I went to Borrrisokane, the nearest town to where I grew up, and the location of both my Primary and Secondary School education, there was a brief unsuccessful attempt to use the same label “outsider” whereas apparently the many Syrian scam artists and criminals were presumably welcome as the new “insiders”. It didn’t really play in that one town. But it plays elsewhere and for some mystical reason we allow it.

NO MORE.

There is not a single town, village or country road on the island of Ireland where a truly, which is to say ethnically, Irish person may be or should be regarded as an outsider. And we should all loudly protest the idea that small communities can be isolated, browbeaten and bullied by combined might of State, media and NGO’s into accepting that which they do not want, while no other outsiders are permitted to show support for them.

Mass immigration is, has been, will continue to be an issue if not the primary issue affecting not just the Irish people of this generation, but of all generations to come, presuming by the grace of God those generations do come, and are still permitted to live in their ancestral homeland.

There are more than enough outsiders in Ireland today, almost all will have to go home at some point.

THERE CAN BE NO SUCH THING AS AN IRISH OUTSIDER IN IRELAND.
