Torture and Decapitation in Sligo
Living in Sligo is generally a pleasure, deep and rich culture of the arts, breath-taking landscapes in every direction and the people here are the salt of the earth. Sligo is no stranger to knife crime, gun crime and some vicious murders and rapes to date but what happened very recently has shaken the community to the core. Monday evening we all began hearing of a body found in sleepy Cartron heights, then the name emerged Aiden Moffit, I knew Aiden as a friend once shared an apartment with him years back. Moffit as we knew him was a nice, courteous and very clearly homosexual man. Telegram groups were rife with wild theories about what happened, my mind cast back to a murder some years ago in cartron where a man stabbed a gay man to death, the killer called to the house where the victim and a well known local alcoholic were drinking. The killer became aware that there was a sexual relationship between the victim and the alcoholic, he was upset because he knew that the alcoholic was a vulnerable adult and he lost his temper and fatally stabbed the victim. The killers only act of mitigation was rushing the victim to the emergency room to try and save him where he sadly passed. I presumed it must have been something similar until the gruesome nature of Moffits death emerged, he had been decapitated and had his genitals removed and as rumour had it sustained these and other mutilations over a prolonged period. At this point we knew we were dealing with something totally different, what in heaven or earth could poor Moffit have done to cause someone to do something so vile and heinous to him. The following evening the motive began to become clearer, we heard the police had found another body, partially decapitated in a house in the town, Michael Snee was a lovely individual I had met him a couple of times and he too was gay. The killer was targeting gay people and media informed us there was speculation he was finding his victims from a gay hook up app, another incident became connected. The killer had met his victim by a graveyard, possibly from the same app and stabbed him in the eye, Anthony lost his eye that night but very luckily fought and escaped with his life.
Teams of armed gardai raided multiple properties on the night of Tuesday the 12th April and successfully arrested a 22 year old man named Yousef Palani accused of all 3 incidents. Yousefs family are Kurdish/Iranian refugees, they are known in the community as being generally very friendly, Yousef was schooled in Ireland and rumour has it he was part of his peer group until he recently travelled to his home country for a period, the conjecture is that this is where he became ‘radicalized’. A local man from Pakistan whom I often speak with informed me that Yousef had visited his premises once and became enraged when he saw that there was alcohol present, alcohol being ‘Haram’ or forbidden in Islam. The picture becoming clear here is that this youth was motivated by eternal reward to carry out these acts, the only clear and obvious motive is Islamic extremism. Gay people being tortured and executed is an everyday occurrence in many modern day Islamic cultures and in places mandated by law along with some other uncomfortable truths like honour killings and arranged marriages, these aren’t pleasant points to discuss and it’s easier to ignore but it is high time we describe things as truthfully and honestly as possible if we are out to survive and be able to process these horrors as a society.
Problem we face here in Ireland is that we have been so heavily programmed by the media to think that Islamic Extremism is never a concern and should not enter to the discussion when forming immigration policies or approach to refugee crisis’s. The media are refusing to acknowledge the obvious motive and speaking about hate crime, homophobia and talking about laws to tackle hate speech and hate crime.

This really doesn’t do anything to address the devastation being felt by the community in Sligo, these men were all very well known and well liked members of the community. Sexuality based hate crimes often involve discrimination, threats and vicious assaults but not torture, decapitation and sadistic butchery. The Guards said the killer had identified many more victims and planned their murders for the days following his arrest, there are many in the gay community who are in terrified right now and trying to process the grief, telling them this was caused by some illusive form of a phobia serves nothing to helping them devise strategies to protect themselves going forward and for their family and friends to deal with their loss.
It has the opposite affect,
Last night there was reports of local kebab shops having crowds landing in screaming abuse at them, someone even broke the window at a kebab shop I visited. If you stifle free speech by misrepresenting fear of Islamic extremist violence as racism then these fears become repressed and the threat posed grows. Then what clearly happens is the general public lets that repressed fear out in ugly ways like verbal abuse at people they think are part of a muslim community, I am not justifying this behaviour merely trying to understand. There was a vigil in Sligo tonight on Good Friday for the victims, friends who were in attendance said it was very political and the families of the victims generally ignored, they said there was calls to advance hate speech/legislation and increase in sentencing. As if a lengthy sentence would deter religious extremist violence, these guys don’t care about being locked up their reward is eternal. To the mujahidin martyrdom is the path to sainthood. If the government, NGOs and media wanted to really help the people they pose to represent they would be talking about funding intelligence gathering and threat detection, hiding the truth of it will only cause further divide between muslims in Ireland and the native population. The very best thing we can do as a society is to talk openly and rationally, it certainly doesn’t fit the Irish spirit to use such a horrific situation to advance political goals. How can people come to terms with these situations if the reality of them is denied and replaced with irrelevant agendas. If we want foreign nationals to be able to assimilate as part of our society we cannot lie to the native population and further compound their fears. Peaceful integration can only be achieved by deeper understanding and open dialogue.

How can Irish socialists justify their support of this man, his party or any of the other fake parties in the dail. They are all part of the World Economic Forum, the largest ever grouping of greedy capitalist dogs to have ever existed. If our history is anything to go by then this is the precipice of Ireland’s next great chapter of revolution.

Saoradh, Eirigi, and groups like them have held the torch of Nationalism alive in this country and even though I am critical of socialism and other economic policies they promote I commend and acknowledge their efforts in this particular Avenue. Their continued criticisms of Sinn Fein and the EU are looked upon with great fondness. In my youth I aspired to be a nationalist. A person who takes pride in their country and maintained, to the letter, the magnificence of the vision the brave men and women of past laid at our feet.

If there is one thing I know for sure, we are going to lose this country to the absolute terror of technologically enhanced tyranny. They will sell it to you, irish socialists as your dream fulfilled but it’s all a ruse to get you to help them steal our land, resources and houses, our culture and our identity completely away from us and to enslave us as indentured servants in a social credit system.

People like me are labelled far right by the media and by Champaign socialists or impressionable college students and we now ALL know that this is intentionally designed and used to keep us all apart.

I can’t take this anymore, to see us Hibernians fooled by something we were warned about in the Proclomation of 1916

These differences, ones that should be ours and ours alone to handle need to be put aside and for our true enemy, the Irish Governement and their ranking officers in the WEF to be removed from power.

In order for for a United Nationalist Front to be formed we have to address the issue of the far right in Ireland. Truthfully and honestly.

We don’t have an organised, ideologically extreme far right in Ireland. We have traditionalists, Nationalists, conservatives, catholics and Protestants, we have pro life, we have people who believe in absolute property rights, we have people who believe in small government……. The list goes on but we do not have a genuine, organised far right in Ireland. I know this because I have spent time with all of the people who have stood up to this the last three years and been labelled as such.

There are however a minority of individuals, people with genuine love and affection for far right ideologies. Thankfully these people do not hold significant influence over “our” side and that is something to be celebrated.

Ireland has been and always will be, if I have anything to do with it, a free liberal society. We are caring, considerate and loving. We cherish the best aspects of the human condition and from that we enjoyed historical figures like James Connolly, Michael Collins and others. Most of these people I don’t agree with ideologically on paper but when you study their words you clearly see they wanted all of us to love each other and love our country.

I will ask groups and individuals in Ireland on both sides who know honesty and sincerity when they read it to consider my words written here. I ask the nationalist left, the real ones, to not view the new right leaning nationalists as your enemy. We have no party, no representation and no experience like you. We have only one home and that is Ireland.
