Demolition Man | Full Movie 1993

A predictive programming movie taking place in the year 2030 [Agenda 2030] as a world under total surveillance, where physical contact is forbidden, humans/babies are made in labs and bad behaviors like using profanity are fined immediately.

One can say the movie is loosely based on 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley, even Sandra Bullock's name in the movie is Lenina Huxley...

Ireland received almost three times the number of asylum applications in the month of January this year compared to January 2021 according to official figures. This was before the Ukrainian war started.

In January, there were 392 requests for asylum compared to 138 in the same period for last year.

The top countries of origin:

Somalia 18.9%
Nigeria 18.4%
Georgia 12.5%
Algeria 7.4%
Afghanistan 6.1%
Other 36.7%

The Sun reported almost 3,000 asylum applications were made in the months of November, December & January in total.

Last year, Integration Minister Roderic Oโ€™Gorman promised to spend half a billion euro constructing 'own door' accommodation for all asylum seekers arriving in Ireland regardless of the merit of their claims.

Up to 90% of asylum seekers have failed their asylum applications in past years, but most are never deported.

Minister David Stanton has stated the average number of family members refugees applied to bring to Ireland between 1996 & 2015 was 20.

I mentioned briefly that a lot of people born in Britain living here are probably retirees as they're spread differently to other migrant groups concentrated in the cities. This map shows you where they live.

The legend tells you the darkest red regions have a British born population of between 3.9% and 19%. You have to click on the areas to reveal exact figures. Choose a layer in the top right first.

The map only reflects people who were born in the UK but don't have Irish citizenship.

You can see it's almost like the cities of Dublin, Cork and Limerick have a magnetic force around them repelling British people. None of them want to live there.

Aside from Wicklow and Wexford, there's a heavy preference for the west of Ireland and there's a thick concentration on the Cork & Kerry coast.

You can't throw a stone down there without hitting an old hippy from England. They go there to gaze off the edge of the known world, and then there's nothing to return to. The Ian Bailey types.

A clip on west Cork blow-ins from Jim Sheridan's documentary Murder At the Cottage about Ian Bailey and the murder of Sophie du Plantier. I recommend it.

"When I was born, every house was full of locals. Now there are forty two people here. They're all blow-ins. I'm the only native."

On the Isle of Man they call them 'wheneyes'.

They're always starting stories with "When I was in...."

Here's where the people 'with African nationalities' reside as recorded in the 2016 census (live map).

It's the inverse of the British one above.

There's a spread in the east centering around Dublin, stretching up into parts of Louth and Meath, down into Wicklow and out into Kildare and Laois.

The cities of Galway, Limerick and Cork also have concentrations along with the towns of Longford, Letterkenny and Tralee.

The legend tells you that in the darkest green areas their percentage of the population ranges from .3% to 7%.

In the lighter green areas, they're 0 to .3% of the population. The rest have none.

I hope these maps are work in progress as the data isn't displayed as well as it could be.

As I'll highlight in the next post, this map excludes Africans with Irish citizenship but I guess it would probably look similar regardless.

Zooming in on the electoral division of Balbriggan Rural.

๐Ÿ”น 1,118 people with African nationalities recorded in 2011 out of a total population of 15,071 (7.4%).

๐Ÿ”น 470 recorded in 2016 out of a total population of 16,430 (2.9%).

There hasn't been an exodus of Africans out of Balbriggan. The Nigerians haven't gone home (except on holiday and to purchase their cribs).

The State has just been handing out pieces of paper with harps in the corner to them.

It would make more sense for the CSO to produce diversity heat maps using the ethnicity or birthplace data, but not from the State's perspective as it's more desirable to conceal how many foreigners are around the country, on social housing lists etc.

The public might start asking difficult questions.

For completion sake, here are the last two maps.

One for people with Asian nationalities in purple. The other for people with EU nationalities in blue.

You can see from the legend in the purple map that 19% of the population in at least one electoral district is made up of people with Asian nationalities.

Curious where that is. It's not Parnell St. There's a count there of 583 out of 5,123 total residents recorded (11.4%).

It was 657 out of 4,060 in 2011 (16.2%).

Europeans don't seem to be fans of Donegal or Mayo.
