Khamenei: US “Mafia regime” created Ukraine crisis
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has blamed Western powers and the US “mafia regime” for the crisis in Ukraine in an hour-long speech Tuesday.
“Support by Western governments for administrations and politicians that have been installed by them is a mirage,” he said.
His comments follow president Ebrahim Raisi who called President Putin last week to express his opinion that NATO’s expansion eastwards was a “serious threat” to the security of independent nations.
