First Interview Since War in Ukraine: "Zelensky is a PR man" - Viktor Medvedchuk's Story from Opposition Leader in Ukraine to POW Swap & Kiev's Anti-Russia Barbarism

The former pro-Russia opposition leader in Ukraine has sat down with RT to discuss events in the run up to his prisoner swap in September last year - in which Viktor Medvedchuk claims he was switched for foreign mercenaries.

He was charged with treason when Kiev clamped down on opposition parties - effectively banning all of them. Medvedchuk told RT his charges were fabricated, as he was used for his contacts in Russia to help secure cheap energy during a crisis dating back to 2014.

He says - as a professional lawyer - Ukraine as a state doesn't exist as a "sovereign, social democracy" but instead has been controlled by the West since 2014. Those who disagree must flee, or face neo-Nazi policies.

‘Most Nazi-killed Jews Were Soviet’: Putin Meets Jewish Leaders

On the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, President Vladimir Putin met with Chief Rabbi of Russia and President of the Federation of Jewish Communities, telling them: "Most of the Jews killed by the Nazis were citizens of the USSR, this is our common pain."

Putin said that Russia is categorically against whitewashing Nazi crimes, and stressed that the Moscow is pursuing such a policy that crimes like the Holocaust will not be repeated.

A man who randomly punched three people in the face in Dublin city centre has been sentenced to four years in prison. Ruzmond Muwaniri (34) came to Ireland from Zimbabwe at age 12. He has address now on North Circular Road, Dublin.
He has rarely worked but has 80 convictions, 16 for assault. He also has schizophrenia.
Why is he still allowed remain in Ireland when his is a threat to our safety as well as a drain on taxpayers who pay his housing, welfare, medical, legal and prison costs?
He should be deported for our safety says Hermann Kelly, President of the Irish Freedom Party.
