In the clear mind, actions directly arise out of understanding.
It is a very smooth process, there is no friction here, there is no time lag here. You understand and from that understanding, the right action immediately happens. No time lag, no friction, and no thought. It is a very smooth and real-time thing. I understand, I act. That is what happens in a clear mind.
But when the mind is not clear then there are layers and layers of conditioning upon the mind.
We see through our mind and the mind has to be clean so that we can see clearly otherwise there will be confusion.

WHY DO WE REMAIN CONFUSED WHILE MAKING DECISIONS?
Confusion arises because you give importance to the dirt.
When there is no love, then one is an enemy to his enemy and a lover to his lover.
As one begins to love, one learns to be a lover to one's enemy.
As one's love peaks, one learns to be an enemy to one's lover.
Unless you can be an enemy to your lover, have you loved at all?

Poverty is not at all natural.
Does existence give poverty to you?
It is the society that gives poverty to you.
We have not seen rabbits, and lions, and elephants die of starvation because they don’t wear a tie and go to offices. In fact, they are so healthy. They live their full, natural life. They don’t get heart-attacks, they don’t suffer from aids and cancer.
They don’t have to go to psychologists to get treated for depression unless they are in contact with human beings. They don’t do MBAs, and they have no bank accounts. Yet they are all so happy.
Look at a flower and look at your own face — whose face looks happier? And why is your face so sad? And not only not is it sad today, but it is also going to remain sad till death.
It is so rare to find a really joyful man. And it is equally rare to find a sad flower. The flower may be this small but it would still be laughing. And man would be sitting in a large car, he would still be sobbing that — “The car of the neighbor is bigger. That corporate honcho has a private jet, I only have a mercedes. I am so poor.”
