Didn't want to come back to this chart, but its important now to hold the big picture in mind. While it looks like shit and smells like shit, it still has a chance to become fertilizer. I wouldn't long anything now (unless you scalp). Zone 18-19k got to hold day close above it to maintain chances for a bounce. If price break through there will be a third bearish impulse down, and I don't want to predict the bottom of its tail.

No trade zone now.

Since Ethereum now rules crypto hype keep an eye on it. If ETH manage to close above 1585 its not lost yet.

The dump left huge gap in between 19.2-19.6k which should be revisited by price sooner or later. How long will it take - impossible to say. Looking at the bigger picture there is another gap in between 12-18k which is much wider and in the trend direction, so chances for BTC to cover it are much higher. This Month only started and still has potential to become one of the most bloody months this year. So don't get overexposed in longs. At least not into swing trades.

Unlike BTC Ethereum chart doesn't look that bad, but it follows the direction of August candle and seem to be heading down. If previously ETH was the one pushing market up now its under BTC pressure and falls down together with the market. ETH merge is in one week so its pretty hard to predict anything in such controversial situation except that ~1300 SR is not that far from current price.

Yesterday's Bellatrix upgrade triggered a 1700% hike in missed blocks. According to some ETH devs and other sources this is not as bad as it sounds. It's just something to keep an eye on. It might also have been one of the triggers of yesterday's crypto market dump.

Now BTC forms a P shaped pattern we call bull flag which often expends into second impulse up. But in this case its important to remember that BTC price is right under break down SR level. And blue line at 19315 is SR zone coming from the very beginning of July. Day timeframe picture is still bearish. But Ethereum merge may help BTC to hold.

If there will be a bullish impulse that succeed in breaking out above resistance price should pump above 19800. If no success - back to ~18.9k and possibly continuation lower.

Recent days were crazy in terms of volatility. Now Ethereum is pushing towards August VWAP and 1677 resistance. In case of breakout we may expect strong impulse towards developing quarter VWAP VAH and 1874 resistance.

Sure there might be more consolidation within bull flag, but time is pushing as Merge is coming.

P.S. Keep in mind that those who bought the dips and intend to hold ETH for long can easily move coins to Coin-M Perpetual and short it from there. So they will have both ETH and profit from its rejection.
