But remember this feeling of speechlessness and “is this real?”-ness. Channel it into any kind of cynicism once we start to incorporate the usual layers of irony and mockery. Because at the end of the day, we need to remained shocked and confused. The opposite of that is normalcy, acceptance, and tolerance (even if we oppose it, we tend to go about it with the understanding of “this is just who they are and what they do”.) But frankly we can’t afford that anymore.
