I’ve finally been persuaded out of retirement. But my skills are a bit rusty, so the best role I could land was an unpaid internship with a friend. Pray for me!

UPDATE: I have recently switched to a low-tech cellphone. I only have the option to call or text on my new device. There is no internet access or apps.

I have absolutely LOVED the change! It has taken out so much distraction and brought focus to life around me.

This channel is still something I want to grow and teach on! I will continue to do so & to find easier ways to post, but posts may be a bit intermittent until then.

I truly encourage everyone to consider a low-tech life! A life closer to the one God designed for us is one closer to Him, indeed.

Today, after the Postmates butt sex ad, the drag queen striptease performances for kids, and the Fox News endorsement of sex changes for kids, I find myself in the kind of pollyannaish state of shock we will later write off as cringe and boomer. Same way we roll our eyes when a boomer’s like “And can you BELIEVE this crAaZzy world where a BOY can be a GIRL and a GIRL can be a BOY!?” Like yea we know. But remember this feeling of speechlessness and “is this real?”-ness. Channel it into any kind of cynicism once we start to incorporate the usual layers of irony and mockery. Because at the end of the day, we need to remained shocked and confused. The opposite of that is normalcy, acceptance, and tolerance (even if we oppose it, we tend to go about it with the understanding of “this is just who they are and what they do”.) But frankly we can’t afford that anymore.
