In 1523 6th of June, Gustav Vasa after leading the Swedish rebellion and freeing Sweden from foreign influence, was elected King of Sweden. The Kingdom of old was independent once again.

Sweden, homeland of the Legendary Goths, the Conquerors of Rome. with Kings from Sigurdr Hring, the Father of Legendary Ragnar Lodbrok, to Gustav Vasa the Liberator, to the Lion of the North.

The history and heritage of Sweden is vast and rich. Sweden, together with France are the two oldest state formations in Europe.
