The crux of the controversy took place following Floyd’s death, when Klein received a request asking that he provide academic leniency for his black students enduring emotional duress.

Klein responded June 2, 2020, by asking how he was supposed to identify black students in the online class; whether he should also go easy on white students from Minneapolis; how much leeway to show half-black students; and how the student feels about Martin Luther King Jr.’s admonition to not evaluate people based on “the color of their skin.”

A screenshot of Klein’s response was distributed widely and decried by students in messages and on social media.

In response, Anderson School Dean Antonio Bernardo wrote in a June 4, 2020, memo to the campus community that Klein was suspended and an investigation was underway.

The State House & Senate passed massive election integrity measures to safeguard the 2024 Presidential election. The new law defines standards for absentee ballot affidavit signatures and streamlines the process for accuracy

Illegitimate Governor Katie Hobbs has no choice but to sign this because it was a lengthy negotiation and both sides came to a consensus. The hope with this is that it gives signature verification a new meaning and provides legal guidelines for judges when determining if signatures don't comply with the law. This makes cheating harder

A district judge barred Nebraska’s largest city, Omaha, from enforcing a ban on guns in all public spaces Friday as an ongoing lawsuit challenging the restrictions is being considered.

A preliminary injunction was issued by Douglas County District Judge LeAnne Srb, blocking the city ban, according to The Associated Press. However, she did not put a hold on bump stocks or the “ghost gun” restrictions.
