One of the reasons for providing this important documentation and commentary is that even in supposedly “awakened” portions of the “truth movement”, or at least many people who frequent “alternative” social media pages and websites, there is a disturbing tendency to dismiss uncomfortable information as “conspiracy theory” as an emotional knee jerk reaction in defense of one’s worldview. We expect this infantile reaction from the so-called “sheeple” who think that the 6 o’clock news is keeping them adequately informed, however, it comes as a shock to the system when swathes of people who follow pages and websites that represent the trend in “new thought” and “alternative/independent media” exhibit precisely the same thought and behavioural patterns as their obviously socially engineered/brainwashed nightly news watching brethren. This article is both a shield and a sword of truth with which to respond to reactionary accusations/dismissals of being a “conspiracy theorist” whenever someone prefers to attack the messenger instead of addressing the message (in an open-minded and adult fashion).

The issues of main concern are the definition, the costs and the actors.
The declining relevance of regular fees had another consequence, as it opened the way for private philanthropies to have an even larger impact.
While private foundations can be very generous, they also can be even faster than governments to change their mind about donations, or more dogged in demanding that their funding is used for specific priorities over others.
One of the primary reasons underpinning the treaty is the “recognition of the catastrophic failure of the international community to show solidarity and equity in response to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic”.
There is a definite need for government to reflect on how they got it so wrong. If and when this treaty comes into force, it will not be just more of the same; it will be much more. We were warned.

💥Reyno De Beer, President of Liberty Fighters Network, comes out in support of FASA, and has compiled a comprehensive public, official complaint against Dr Pierre de Vos ~ Part 1

De Beer references two incidents of unprofessional conduct that brings the name of the University of Cape Town (UCT) into disrepute through the association of personal opinion with UCT.
COMPLAINT 1. Daily Maverick article
De Vos wrote a legal opinion article titled: "Jabs in the dark – why this anti-vax group’s case is a legal non-starter" (Daily Maverick, 2023-04-19), which was subsequently removed. This article can be found in the PDF version below. Herein he labels FASA as part of the "Anti-Vaxxers" community and then proceeds to discriminate against this group of people, violating the Equity Act. In addition, De Vos mocks and demeans scientists and medical professionals representing FASA, without providing meaningful legal insight, but merely providing dubious opinions on the matter. In addition, de Vos appears to write with amusement when labelling FASA with descriptors such as "conspiracy theorists", "anti-Semitic" and "fringe", without a shred of evidence to back such serious name-calling. De Vos also attempts to discredit expert witnesses before they had an opportunity to present their evidence, using defamatory labels. He makes public statements about public opinions on Telegram as if he is referring to the FASA official position.
COMPLAINT 2. ENCA interview
De Vos was interviewed on ENCA under a discussion called "Anti-vaxxer group head to court” where he "not only acted unprofessionally, but also provided false information to the general public about the apparent failure of the FASA court case". Once again de Vos mocked the professional team representing FASA while providing "suspected fallacious and incompetent legal opinions about the FASA case he has no practical knowledge about and at times providing medical opinions about medical facts stated in the court papers he is not trained to do". His unprofessional and giggling behaviour, whilst making statements without independence and impartiality has furthermore "tarnished the good image of UCT".
De Beer highlights that "De Vos has clearly displayed in the public, as also the mouthpiece of UCT in such respect, that anyone who is not aligned to the general COVID-19 narrative pushed by the mainstream media, the state and the pharmaceutical industry, who are all factually known to be corrupt, untrustworthy and like Pfizer an international [sic] convicted criminal, should be discriminated against and harassed and their reputations tarnished by way of one-sided legal opinions and views... he fallaciously reacted to the FASA matter in absence [sic] of the state even having presented its case in opposition."
Instead of educating the public about accurate legal proceedings, De Vos neglects to inform the public about the Rule 53 review application. "FASA would have an opportunity to still supplement its case, based on the record by the state or lack thereof, and that FASA has not yet presented its full case to comment on". Rather de Vos appears to attempt to deceive the public, omitting the fact that "the onus probandi will lie on the state to disproof [sic] any public interest challenge and that it cannot simply deny allegations and must provide the actual data before court [sic] to rebut FASA’s case."
LFN requests UCT to further investigate the complaints against de Vos and to take appropriate disciplinary action, which include a public apology from de Vos.
