LineageOS 23.2 for Waydroid (20260302) (Android 16)

Mesa version: 26.0.1
ARM translation layer: ndk_translation
GApps included: Yes

We finally have Android 16 on x86 PCs natively :) No emulators, no VMs, no performance overhead.

The only fly in the ointment is that we don't have a stable ARM translation layer for A15/A16 at this moment. Many ARM-only apps just crash if you try to run them.

I am currently looking for someone to test (and debug) GPU acceleration on my unreleased Android 16 QPR0 build, for the following GPUs:

- Kepler+ NVIDIA GPUs with nouveau kernel driver (Anything newer than GTX600 series)
- AMD GPUs (especially RDNA-based cards/iGPUs)

If anyone has the hardware and is interested in it, please tell me (by sending a PM here) and I will send the build to you :)

I have just got the older version of ndk_translation (from AVD16 QPR0) working on LineageOS 23.2, which resolves the ARM compatibility issue in my A16 QPR2 images

TL;DR, I will start working on the next 23.2 release (both TV and regular) after the final release of 23.0 is out

UPDATE:

Only ARM64 is supported in QPR2 currently, stay in 23.0 if you need 32-bit ARM support (especially for TV users)
