Wood Mackenzie released a North American Refinery Intelligence Service report about this fire, after analysing aerial imagery captured with 24 hours of the incident using infrared monitoring. Key findings include damage to the diesel hydrotreater, impacts on surrounding infrastructure, and the operational status of major units across the site.

With geopolitical pressures already tightening global energy markets, this outage adds further uncertainty to refined product supply in the US.
