Position Title: Trainee Security Officer & CCTV Assistant
Location: Islamabad, Tilford
Salary Rate: National Minimum Wage
Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya UK is looking for suitable Waqifeen-e-Nau to train as a Security Officer and CCTV Assistant.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum age- 18
You should be capable of working within a team or using your own initiative.
You will be flexible to working Days, Nights and weekends.
Excellent communication & observation skills
Mobile & physically active
Good team player
Interviews will be held over the next few days for an immediate start.
Main responsibilities as a Security Officer: Support the protection of the Islamabad site to ensure that no unauthorised access is gained, liaising with other teams and escalating incidents as and when required.
Duties will include:
Access/egress control.
Signing visitors and contractor in/out.
Conducting regular patrols of the premises using the patrol systems and reporting any suspicious activities or faults to the 24 hour control Centre and following the escalation process.
Report writing and responding to incidents.
Main responsibilities as a CCTV Assistant: As a CCTV Assistant you will be required to monitor the CCTV Service maintaining accurate records and logs of all incidents, video handling, telephone conversations, alarm activation and intelligence in line with standard operating procedures.
Additional responsibilities include:
Monitoring the camera images proactively and/or re-actively in order to assist with the detection of incidents
Controlling access and visits to the CCTV Control room to promote security in line with standard operating procedures.
Communicating regularly with other team members on site by two-way radios in line with standard operating procedures.
Ensure activities within the CCTV Control Centre are conducted as required by the CCTV Code of Practice, CCTV Operational Procedures and relevant legislation
Carry out duties with regards to the health & safety and other organisation's polices, including confidentiality and equal opportunities.
Due to the nature of work, the applicant must be trust worthy, honest and discreet. We take privacy and confidentiality very seriously. The candidate must be polite in dealing with other Organisation members and have the ability to use his own initiative but also know when matters need to be referred to a supervisor.
