Die Klimakleber sind ja gerade zumindest in DE schwer am kleben. Es wurde mal etwas in die Etymologie geschaut. Da wir das immer in englisch machen, wurde "glue" (https://www.etymonline.com/search?q=glue) angeschaut. Was zu keinem Ergebnis führte, Etymologisch bezeichnet es in allen Ursprüngen eine klebrige, schleimige Substanz. Haben wir im deutschen heute noch in Gluten z.B. Da wie bei Allem, auch bei deren Ritualen die Absicht in der Handlung das Entscheidende ist, sind wir dann zur Handlung gekommen und haben "to stick" (https://www.etymonline.com/word/stick?ref=etymonline_crossreference#etymonline_v_22077) angesehen.
