The American Medical Association has a brand new Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code to help it keep track of who has had a Bird Flu vaccine.
The code will be “effective for use on the condition the H5N8 Influenza virus vaccine candidates receive emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).”

🇬🇧🇺🇸🇨🇦🇮🇪🇦🇺🇳🇿🇿🇦 Important article in Sweden's second largest daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet by lawyer Peter Hellman on three changes that strengthen the Swedish rule of law, which the current government is eroding as well as fundamental rights and freedoms through measures proposed and introduced, such as anonymous witnesses and increased powers for the police to monitor, eavesdrop, conduct arbitrary searches and seize property that cannot be proven to have been legally acquired.

To counter this trend, which, according to Mr Hellman, is not incompatible with effective law enforcement, the author of the article believes that three important reforms are needed
1. the introduction of a "Fruit of the Poisonous Tree" doctrine, such as exists in the United States, which means that evidence gathered illegally cannot be used in a trial
2. clearer accountability for misconduct; and
3. the establishment of a constitutional court, as is common in other democracies, which would have scrutinised, for example, the particularly restrictive legislation introduced by the government during the pandemic.
