During a press conference broadcast live on television, Tanja Erichsen, who is unit manager at the Danish Medicines Agency, fainted on Wednesday afternoon. She has subsequently regained consciousness and is OK under the circumstances, according to the Danish Medicines Agency on Twitter.
At Wednesday's press conference, Tanja Erichsen managed to put into words the Danish health authorities' decision to drop the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine for the time being. This means that it is for the time being deleted from the Danish vaccination program.
