Action for today - complain to the BBC!

Dear Supporters,

Since our last update we have been responding to press interest in the outcome of our regulatory complaint against Pfizer — more on that below — spotlighting Government and NHS efforts to continue to push the Covid vaccine to children and teenagers, and continuing the battle to break through MSM’s apparent oath of silence on these issues.

After news of our complaint against Pfizer broke in The Telegraph in November, we promised we would tell you more about it once the regulator published its case report and we were free to do so. The Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority (PMCPA), the UK regulator which heard our complaint, published its report on 3 February, and it can now be read in full online.

Many of you will already have seen our Broken Custodians Substack, but suffice it to say that the highlight of this year-long process is that on the points that mattered most to us, we won!

In particular, after a lengthy appeal by Pfizer against initial findings given last summer, the PMCPA’s Appeal Board upheld three key elements of our complaint, finding that Pfizer’s Chairman and CEO, Dr Albert Bourla, had made comments in a BBC interview about vaccinating 5 to 11-year-olds which not only promoted the use of covid-19 vaccines for children but were also “misleading” and “incapable of substantiation”.

The story has been picked up by news reports around the world, with interest in particular from the US, and you can see Molly interviewed last week by the USA’s Dr Drew here. We have also seen some good coverage in the UK from reporters at Epoch Times and The Conservative European.

MSM, though tends to stay quiet on any story that risks critiquing the official narrative that the vaccine rollout has been an unadulterated success, so UK MSM coverage has been sparse. The BBC has not only retained the offending interview with Dr Bourla on its website but has also given no coverage of the regulator’s findings — and plainly undermining its commitment to countering misinformation and disinformation by doing so.

That’s why we’ve included below a CTA to call on the BBC to remove Dr Bourla’s advertisement from their online platform and archive and to report on the PMCPA Appeal Board’s findings.

As our Substack article explains, this case, and the apparent regulatory impunity that companies such as Pfizer appear to enjoy, evidence that the system of oversight for UK Pharma is hopelessly outdated and that the regulatory authorities are risibly ill-equipped to keep powerful, hugely well-resourced corporate groups in check.

As we move into 2023, you can expect to hear more from us on this topic, which has become so relevant to children's health.
