4 Swedish Doctors: Lockdowns are the biggest public health failure in world history
OPINION. The government decided to send SEK 150 billion in grants to the EU's corona fund. A breathtaking sum to countries that through lockdowns deliberately destroy their economies. Now we never want to hear again that there is a lack of money for Swedish elderly care.
One year into the pandemic, the risk groups still lacks the focused protection that can save lives and enable the removal of counterproductive restrictions. Half of all those who died with covid-19 have lived in municipal nursing homes, a quarter had home care. The median age of death is 85 years.
The Swedish doctor's call has collected 7,500 signatures against harmful restrictions and for strengthened protection of the old and fragile.
