Three Swedish doctors launch a doctor's call in Sweden to reduce restrictions and improve protection for risk groups:
“In a situation where covid-l9 no longer poses an acute threat and Sweden has had mortality for just over a month, introducing tougher closures than in the spring of 2020 is unreasonable.
Many studies, published by the respected The Lancet, among others, show that lockdowns in order to prevent the spread of covid-l9 are lacking in evidence.
The potential benefits of shutting down society must be weighed against the documented negative effects it brings in the form of deferred care, lack of school attendance and education, physical inactivity, isolation and mental illness, deteriorating future public health, unemployment and bankruptcies. And there are misguided efforts against children." This writes:
