Thomas Seyfried, a professor at Boston College, has examined the impact of diet on cancer. In his research on cancer, he has found the ”common denominator” for what causes cancer. He says it is defective or abnormal respiratory functions in cells (mitochondria), which turns out to be the cause of cancer. Eating a ketogenic diet (low-carbohydrate diet) prevents the mitochondria from converting sugar and starves cancer tumors to death, according to the professor.
”The cancer research that Otto Warburg conducted in the 1930s should receive more attention,” says nutritionist Dag Viljen Poleszynski. He supports the ”new” research being done at Boston College.
