💔💔Good morning colleagues & friends. We are devastated to let you know of the untimely death of Dr Jackie Stone late yesterday afternoon at her home in Harare. We will let you know when we have more details but suffice it to say that the profession & community has suffered a great loss. Sometimes controversial, those colleagues & friends who knew her well & worked with her are convinced of the fact that hundreds of families still have their loved ones with them today through her tireless work & sharing of knowledge during COVID. Medicine has lost one of its most brilliant minds & genuinely caring hearts & we are shocked & grieving this loss today. She had just turned 59. Our hearts go out to her 3 children, family and colleagues. Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. 😢😢
