To all our mothers, we pray this blessing for you! ♥️
Dear Lord,
We thank You for our mothers. Today, we celebrate and honour their selfless love and sacrifice for us.
Bless every mother with a deep sense of Your presence and purpose in their life. Grant them joy and fulfilment as they daily live out their calling as a mom — through the highs and lows, the extraordinary and the mundane. Multiply their strength as they seek to love and be fully present whilst juggling various responsibilities within and beyond the home.
Draw them close to You that they may always know Your heart for them, and find their value and validation in Christ alone. Grow their faith and strengthen the work of their hands that they may be a wonderful blessing to their family and all around them. Amen!

Christianity Explored (CEx) is where anyone can discover who Jesus is and ask faith-related questions about life. Since we began running CEx in 2022, different WEFCers have invited family and friends to join in, and we thank God that over 10 of them have made or reaffirmed their decision to follow Jesus!
CEx is a great outreach platform, and a not-so-scary way for us to obey the Great Commission. Today we hear from 3 WEFCers who've invited friends and/or served as facilitators, about their reflections and how they've seen God work.
Who can you invite to CEx? Stay tuned for the next run in September 2024.

How can each of us answer the call to reach the nations for Christ? In what ways can we be His hands and feet to bring the Gospel to the least reached? Over this and next Sunday, gain a deeper understanding of God's missional heart and discover your role through our Missions Sundays line-up.
Be it through praying for our missionaries at this Sunday's English Jericho Prayer (10.30am), visiting our Missions Booths in Cana Hall after the service (19 & 26 May), or attending the Timor-Leste Missions Forum (19 May, 11am), we pray that every WEFCer will come away with a renewed sense of purpose and passion for missions!

Just as God commands us not to neglect doing good and to share what we have (Heb 13:16) as we look to the interests of others (Phil 2:4), Connect@806 is a WSC programme that aims to meet the physical and social needs of those in our Woodlands community.
