1. storage calculation: it tells the precise data of how much total storage is occupied by the app, how much is the size of a specific types of files within just a matter of minutes.
2. filtering mode: allows the user to filter between all the files, sent files, or recieved files to provide you the appsolute controll over the app
3. find dooblicate media: allows the user to backup or delete dooblicate media or files from the device to free-up the memory.
4. cleen database files: removes all the encripted chats files which are unrelated or not needed by the application.
5. delete/view stickers/statuses which are downloaded and have been saved to your device storage.
6. share  and previewing of the files, and a lot lot more which easily can be self explored.
enhancements made:
1. overall script has been improved by adding robust error handling and smart workflow.

Smart typer is a lightweight, versatile android app that combines professional notes management, precise text editing toolkit, voice typing functionality, internet search, and translation/AI-Powered capabilities, all being accessible in a single, unified workspace!
the app aims to simplify various daily tasks such as notes management, proofreading, AI-Corrections, searching internet and more all within a single app, useful for both working professionals/students.
prominent/major highlights of the app are as follows.
file browser:
the dedicated file browser allows the user to create the notes/code files and organise them into folders, while also enabling the user to perform the operations such as copy, move, delete, rename, convert to audio and more on one or multiple files at once.
the notes can also be converted to PDF, or can even be transformed into realistic handwriting with full customisation support.
other functionalities in the file browser include backing up everything to device, sorting files, viewing recently created documents among others.
text editor:
the app includes a feature riched, advanced text editor that includes two modes.
normal mode; efficient for general text document/code editing, includes every required function such as copy/cut/paste, find and replace, go to, splitting the text in lines or words for precise editing, among the others.
blogger mode; includes all the features of normal mode+the ability to write simple, memorable plain text and then save it as a blog post or in the HTML form for organising your content or writing the blog post on Android device. complete usage guide is provided in the blogger mode for the user to learn more.
AI ability in text editor;
type or paste your text, and let the AI handle the rest!
the AI corrects all the spelling mistakes, clears the gramatical errors, and ensures proper usage of relevant punctuations throughout the text.
there are five, distinct, correction modes for different usecases, for instence; default mode performs simple corrections like correcting spellings/grammer errors/punctuational errors. all the other 4 modes are described in the "how to use" section of the app in grate details.
voice typing in the text editor:
the voice typing can be commenced through the voice typing button provided in the editor, it supports all the languages that the android's native voice input offers. languages can be changed from the app settings, and user specific languages can be added to favourites by long pressing on the language name in the language selection menu. favourite languages can be cycled by long pressing the voice typing button once added to favourites. this allows seamless switching between different languages while using the voice typing.
there is a powerful offline text correcting engine which can be enabled from the app settings, it automatically adds the relevant punctuations, inserts newlines with English sentences and it also corrects the frequent mistakes which are committed by the Android's native voice input. it seamlessly corrects most of the errors which are popularly committed by the voice input in the English, and hindi/urdu.
the app, moreover; includes a set of essential useful tools accessible through the navigation bar of the app which further simplifies even more daily tasks in a single toolkit! examples include vikkipedia search, a powerful word helper, insteht translate, and more!

Smart Typer can now open and work with Microsoft Excel files (.xlsx and .xls), as well as CSV files.

Live Hindi and English news can now be accessed directly within Smart Typer, with search, translation, text-to-speech, playback, sharing, and reading customization.
You can adjust reading preferences, choose voices, control speech rate, and continue listening with background playback.
🔍 Smarter File Scanning
The file scanning workflow has also been expanded.
Previously, Smart Utilities primarily searched within Smart Typer's own directory. It can now scan the device's internal storage, making it much easier for utilities such as the Image Viewer, Video Player, and Audio Player to discover files across the phone.
A dedicated Scan for Folder option has also been added, making it easier to specifically locate and work with folders on the device.
⚙️ A Better Settings Experience
The Settings section has been reorganized into dedicated categories, making it much easier to find the option you're looking for instead of going through one long settings screen.
General, Editor, AI & Voice Typing, Text to Audio, PDF Reader, File Browser, and newsCast settings now have their own dedicated sections.
There's also a new option to choose what Smart Typer opens to by default — either the File Browser or Smart Utilities.
And when a file is opened through Android's Open With or Share functionality, Smart Typer gives that external file the priority it needs instead of unnecessarily interrupting the workflow.
There are also a number of smaller improvements, bug fixes, stability enhancements, and changes across the application that aren't as visible but make a difference in everyday use.
It started around notes and text.
Now it can work with spreadsheets, PDFs, images, audio, video, documents, news, AI, voice, and much more — while still keeping the original productivity tools at its core.
And there's still plenty more I want to build.
