🇺🇸 New video shows moments leading up to the start of the "Colorado Fire" in Mariposa County near Yosemite, taken by the driver of the tour bus that was struck by an overturned cement truck. The fire has burned brush and trees, charred hundreds of acres and prompted evacuation orders.

The fire immediately grew in size. By Tuesday night, it has grown to 250 acres and is 0% contained.

🇷🇺 A Russian man reportedly tried to fill hidden containers inside his car with gasoline, but the vehicle suddenly caught fire instead.

Station staff and bystanders put out the fire and moved the vehicle away from the pumps. No casualties were reported. The incident came as Russia faces a nationwide gasoline shortage. Authorities in many regions have capped how much fuel can be sold per vehicle and banned filling jerry cans, after long queues formed at stations.

🇺🇸 Palmdale, #California (Ace Hardware) - 4-month-pregnant employee runs down a thief trying to steal an air conditioner and wrestles the goods right out of his hand.

She ran down the thief and ripped the product straight out of his hands as he tried to put it in his vehicle. The store manager asked the woman about the confrontation, and she responded by saying she simply “acted on instinct.”

🇺🇸 Serial pooper is wreaking havoc on a neighborhood and threatening people while the city does nothing.

Residents in Brentwood, #California, say the woman has been defecating on the sidewalks for years and has begun to become more aggressive. One mother was walking with her young daughter and her dog, and the woman ran up and threatened to kill them.

The woman reached out to 3-1-1, which took 6 months to even find her, and then said they could not do anything because she didn't want help.

🇺🇸 President Trump called the war with Iran "small potatoes" on Friday and defended Vice President JD Vance, who said Thursday it shouldn't be called a war.

"A lot of people don't call it a war. I call it a military conflict because it's small potatoes for us. It's not a big thing. We did Venezuela, and we did this," Trump told reporters.

In a post on Truth Social on Friday morning, though, Trump referred to it as a war multiple times while attacking Democrats who oppose the war.

An American Airlines flight was diverted to #Baltimore following an incident involving a passenger.

The man allegedly used the N-word toward a flight attendant & became violent, hitting another passenger and pushing a woman who tried to help.

Passengers helped restrain him with duct tape and zip ties before the flight was diverted to Baltimore, where he was taken into custody.

🇺🇸 71-year-old woman dies after police shootout outside #Florida Police Department.

Linda Jean Croteau entered the lobby of the Port Orange Police Department at 4545 Clyde Morris Blvd. holding a handgun. She spoke with civilian staff in the records section, pointed the weapon at employees, and fired one round toward an area where staff were present. No employees or officers were injured.

Responding officers issued repeated commands to drop the weapon. Three officers fired several rounds. They immediately provided aid. Croteau was transported to a hospital, where she died Sept. 4. The circumstances are being clarified.
