We'll talk about their projects for veterans but also talk about the problems the U.S. is facing right now in terms of veterans care, the looming split between government and veterans on how to deal with the Afghanistan crisis, and much more.

Senator Kelly Townsend responds to allegations of medical malfeasance at Phoenix Indian Health Center, and other private hospitals in Arizona.

Monday of this week, Project Veritas released a video that showed undercover recordings of physicians and other staff of the Phoenix Indian Health Center discussing the fact that adverse events after the COVID-19 vaccine were not being reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

Senator Townsend expressed her concern with the video. "I am not surprised to hear of these allegations from this hospital. Complaints such as these are becoming increasingly more frequent, along with allegations of other public hospitals committing medical discrimination against the unvaccinated." Townsend continued, "I am glad the reality is coming to light of how easily people have devolved into blatant discrimination against those who chose not to, or cannot be, vaccinated. I have received reports out of Tucson of patients being grossly neglected due to their vaccine status. This cannot stand in our state. I have advised the family members to make a complaint to the Department of Health Services and I hope it is investigated immediately."

Senator Townsend has been consistent in her messaging regarding the right of a person to make decisions regarding their medial care, including the COVID-19 vaccine. "Wherever there is a risk, there must always be the opportunity for choice," said Townsend. She continued, "In the last several months, I have been contacted by many seeking recourse, whether it be patients needing an advocate, nurses seeking to preserve their employment, parents of school children seeking help due to an arbitrary quarantine, or first responders facing illegal mandates from City officials."

Because the volume of calls and emails has become insurmountable, Senator Townsend has moved to form a group of like-minded individuals from many professions to join her in creating the Arizona Health and Safety Coalition. It is her desire to see a group that is dedicated not only to assisting the public with resources, but to act as a watchdog when things like what was seen yesterday with Project Veritas happen. "I expect this group to act as a think-tank and a resource to help the citizens of Arizona find solutions during this pandemic. I also expect that we can help guide family members as they seek recourse for the mistreatment they are experiencing in various parts of the state. We will provide access to the laws that are there to protect them from maltreatment and neglect and will point them to legal counsel who can represent them if they need to seek damages.

Townsend tweeted earlier today that because the Phoenix Indian Health Center is a federal facility, she is calling on the Congressional delegation to investigate. As for a solution for private and public institutions under the state's jurisdiction, Townsend indicated that she is proposing legislation to create a similar reporting system for Arizona that is transparent for the public to see and more reliable, with an enforceable mandate for medical practitioners report the adverse event.

Am Montag dieser Woche veröffentlichte Project Veritas ein Video, das verdeckte Aufnahmen von Ärzten und anderen Mitarbeitern des Phoenix Indian Health Center zeigt, die die Tatsache diskutieren, dass unerwünschte Ereignisse nach dem COVID-19-Impfstoff nicht an das Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) gemeldet wurden.

Senatorin Townsend brachte ihre Besorgnis über das Video zum Ausdruck. "Ich bin nicht überrascht, von diesen Anschuldigungen aus diesem Krankenhaus zu hören. Beschwerden wie diese werden immer häufiger, ebenso wie Anschuldigungen gegen andere öffentliche Krankenhäuser, die ungeimpfte Menschen medizinisch diskriminieren." Ich habe Berichte aus Tucson erhalten, in denen Patienten aufgrund ihres Impfstatus grob vernachlässigt wurden. Das kann in unserem Staat nicht hingenommen werden. Ich habe den Familienmitgliedern geraten, eine Beschwerde beim Gesundheitsministerium einzureichen, und ich hoffe, dass diese sofort untersucht wird."

Senatorin Townsend hat sich stets für das Recht der Menschen eingesetzt, Entscheidungen über ihre medizinische Versorgung zu treffen, so auch über den Impfstoff COVID-19. "Wo immer es ein Risiko gibt, muss es auch die Möglichkeit der Wahl geben", sagte Townsend. Sie fuhr fort: "In den letzten Monaten wurde ich von vielen kontaktiert, die einen Rechtsbeistand suchten, seien es Patienten, die einen Anwalt brauchen, Krankenschwestern, die ihren Arbeitsplatz behalten wollen, Eltern von Schulkindern, die wegen einer willkürlichen Quarantäne Hilfe suchen, oder Ersthelfer, die sich illegalen Anordnungen von Stadtbeamten gegenübersehen."

Da die Menge der Anrufe und E-Mails unüberschaubar geworden ist, hat Senatorin Townsend eine Gruppe von Gleichgesinnten aus vielen Berufen gebildet, die sich ihr bei der Gründung der Arizona Health and Safety Coalition anschließen. Sie wünscht sich eine Gruppe, die sich nicht nur der Unterstützung der Öffentlichkeit mit Ressourcen widmet, sondern auch als Wachhund fungiert, wenn Dinge wie das, was gestern mit Project Veritas geschah, passieren. Wir werden ihnen Zugang zu den Gesetzen verschaffen, die sie vor Misshandlung und Vernachlässigung schützen sollen, und sie an Rechtsbeistände verweisen, die sie vertreten können, wenn sie Schadenersatz fordern.

Townsend twitterte heute, dass sie, da das Phoenix Indian Health Center eine Bundeseinrichtung ist, die Delegation des Kongresses auffordert, eine Untersuchung durchzuführen. V Corps arrives in Germany for final certifying training event

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The first two waves of V Corps Soldiers arrived in Grafenwoehr, Germany, early September, in preparation for V Corps’ upcoming certifying training event, Warfighter 22-1.
The exercise will be V Corps' final step in becoming the U.S. Army’s fourth corps and America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
WFX 22-1 is a multi-component exercise involving Soldiers from U.S. Army Europe and Africa, 3rd Infantry Division; 34th Infantry Division, Minnesota National Guard; 103rd Sustainment Command (expeditionary), U.S. Army Reserve; 35th Engineer Brigade, 1st Engineer Battalion, Missouri Army National Guard; 333rd Military Police Brigade, 200th Military Police Command, U.S. Army Reserve; and V Corps Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, working together from multiple U.S. & European locations with the main command post and tactical command dispersed at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, and the rear command post at Fort Riley, Kansas.
