However, the headline is misleading. The study defines unvaccinated people as anyone who received the first dose of the vaccine within 14 days of contracting the virus. So anyone who falls ill, is hospitalized or dies is considered unvaccinated.

Die Schlagzeile ist jedoch irreführend. Die Studie definiert ungeimpfte Personen als alle, die innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach der Ansteckung mit dem Virus die erste Dosis des Impfstoffs erhalten haben. Jeder, der erkrankt, ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert wird oder stirbt, gilt also als nicht geimpft.
