Japan’s ministry of health is taking a sensible, ethical approach to Covid vaccines. They recently labeled the vaccines with a warning about myocarditis and other risks. They also reaffirmed their commitment to adverse event reporting to document potential side-effects.
Japan’s ministry of health states: “Although we encourage all citizens to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, it is not compulsory or mandatory. Vaccination will be given only with the consent of the person to be vaccinated after the information provided.”
Furthermore, they state: “Please get vaccinated of your own decision, understanding both the effectiveness in preventing infectious diseases and the risk of side effects. No vaccination will be given without consent.”

Das japanische Gesundheitsministerium verfolgt bei den Covid-Impfstoffen einen vernünftigen, ethischen Ansatz. Vor kurzem wurden die Impfstoffe mit einer Warnung vor Myokarditis und anderen Risiken versehen. Außerdem bekräftigte es seine Verpflichtung zur Meldung unerwünschter Ereignisse, um mögliche Nebenwirkungen zu dokumentieren.
Das japanische Gesundheitsministerium erklärt: "Obwohl wir alle Bürger ermutigen, sich gegen COVID-19 impfen zu lassen, ist die Impfung nicht obligatorisch oder verpflichtend. Die Impfung wird nur mit der Zustimmung der zu impfenden Person nach entsprechender Aufklärung durchgeführt".

Florida Court Blocks Biden Vaccine Mandate for Federal Contractors
A federal court in Florida has temporarily blocked the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate directed at federal contractors, marking a small win for the sunshine state as litigation over the matter continues.
Florida is among 19 states that sued the Biden administration in late October over the federal vaccine mandate for government contractors, outlined under Executive Order 14042 that President Joe Biden issued on Sept. 9.
The executive order requires almost all federal employees to get a COVID-19 vaccine as a condition of employment, including civilian federal employees and contractors. Regular COVID-19 testing wouldn’t be an option, but religious or medical exemptions from vaccination may be granted.

WHO’s Third Attempt to Investigate Virus Origin Just as Flawed as Their First Two
The World Health Organization’s (WHO) newly formed Scientific Advisory Group looking into the origins of the pandemic recently held its first meeting. The group represents the WHO’s third attempt to investigate the origins of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes the disease COVID-19. The WHO’s previous finding that the virus had a natural origin came under immediate criticism, both for its flawed methodology and the close ties of many of the WHO’s investigators to China and the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
But despite promises from WHO leader Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus that this investigation would be different, the new team is once again characterized by a lack of transparency, ties to China, as well as numerous conflicts of interest.

Dems who called for defunding police amid George Floyd protests now pivoting
Police departments nationwide are now seeing their finances partially restored amid a spike in crime.
George Floyd’s death at the hands of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the summer of 2020 ignited a wave of protests across the country calling for major overhauls in the U.S. criminal justice system.
The phrase "defund the police" not only became a rallying cry but served as a litmus test separating moderates from the progressive left.
The latter wing was adamant that the phrase shouldn’t be regarded as merely rhetorical. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., responding to proposed New York City budget cuts to the police department said they didn’t go far enough.
"Defunding police means defunding police. It does not mean budget tricks or funny math. It does not mean moving school police officers from the NYPD budget to the Department of Education’s budget so the exact same police remain in schools," the congresswoman said in a statement.
Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., went a step further, calling for the Minneapolis Police Department to be dismantled because it is "rotten to the root."
"We need to completely dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department. Because here’s the thing, there’s a cancer," Omar said at rally in Minneapolis in June 2020.
