The pandemic situation - the basis of ALL Corona restrictions - can fall! This announced Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn (41, CDU) on Monday afternoon according to BILD information in the Health Ministers Conference of the states.

Germany has been waiting for this since March 2020 - at that time, the "epidemic situation of national significance" was first determined by the Bundestag. Now it is not to be extended - and would, if the Bundestag supports this, finally expire at the end of November!

The Bundestag would have to actively extend the situation. After the Spahn announcement, however, this is considered unlikely.

Spahn said according to participants before the state ministers: the Robert Koch Institute classifies "the risk for vaccinated persons as moderate", thus, in view of the current vaccination rate, the epidemic situation could expire on November 25, 2021 as a nationwide exemption and be terminated.
