A police officer from Siegen in North Rhine-Westphalia allegedly took part in a lateral thinking demonstration against the Corona policy in Berlin over the weekend while in uniform. Ein Polizeibeamter aus Siegen in Nordrhein-Westfalen soll am Wochenende in Uniform an einer "Querdenken"-Demonstration gegen die Corona-Politik in Berlin teilgenommen haben. Berliner Polizeikräfte nahmen ihn dort fest. Nun wurde ein Disziplinarverfahren gegen den Beamten eingeleitet, teilte die Polizeidirektion Siegen der Deutschen Presse-Agentur mit.

Bereits am Samstag kursierten Bilder von dem Vorfall in sozialen Netzwerken. Sie zeigten den Mann unter anderem in einer sogenannten Dienstuniform, die Polizisten normalerweise bei repräsentativen Anlässen tragen. In seiner Hand hielt er ein Schild mit der Aufschrift: "Ich beteilige mich nicht am Faschismus". Um ihn herum standen Beamte in Kampfuniformen. Die Bilder stammen offenbar aus einem Livestream der Querdenker-Szene.
