During recent tests, I noticed Viber is now returning a new error message:

Status: 116, ErrorMessage: Registration restricted for system

They have made it more difficult to activate Viber now via the proxy.

But the new way to activate it without a server proxy will handle that. It requires a special tool that will be a part of the video instructions.

Hi everyone. I wish to tell you that I'm going to publish an open-source version of a proxy server. It will be available to run via Docker for personal purposes only.
I wish to make that project cover more than Viber or Runtastic.
I need your help in creating a new name for the project, so it does not contain Viber or any other brand words in the name.

The proxy itself isn't yet public and not made for Viber. Once I complete the project, I'll send here a config file that will add rules for Viber activation so anyone will be able to use it offline.

As you can see, it is a kind of a universal proxy that can work with all devices. I'll make the community able to create rules, patches, and fixes for any services. So the complete config profile can be created and shared by the community. I'll share configs for Runtastic and Viber activation. And together we will fix more stuff!
