The #ArtBiennale, a contemporary visual art exhibition so called because it is held biennially, is the original biennale on which others in the world have been modeled. The Biennale Foundation in Venice supports the arts as well as organizing the following separate #VeniceEvents:
- Art Biennale- International Art Exhibition, Biennally since 1895
- Architecture Biennale - International Architecture Exhibition, Biennally since 1980
- Biennale Musica - International Festival of Contemporary Music, Annually in September/October since 1930
