📝 Borges Labyrinth in the island of #SanGiorgio, Venice since 2011.
More than 3000 plants placed to create the name of one of the most important and influential writers of the past century: Jorge Luis Borges from Argentina, whose most loved place in the world was of course Venice ❤️
The whole island itself is amazing, have you ever visited it?

🎸📜 #25September 1976.
The first ever Rock concert in Venice island took place in #SanMarco Square.
#PaulMcCartney and the Wings played in front of a local and international audience on the 10th anniversary of the 1966 terrifying flood that almost destroyed the city.
The concert was the final act of a series of events organized by Unesco to raise awarness on Venice fragility and donations to preserve the city.
Fun fact: the stage was built in the usual way of the time, like they were anywhere else in the world, the day after the pavement stones in San Marco square were damaged 😬
