🤘#Aerosmith announced yesterday their retirement... #StevenTyler can't sing anymore due to his compromised vocal cords 🤷‍♂

I'm lucky to have seen them several times in the last 30 years or so... and I'm sure Mr. Tallarico will visit Venice more often now ❤️‍🔥

#AvantProg #NeoClassical #ChamberMusic #FolkRock #MusiqueConcrete

50 years ago, in an undocumented date, Opus Avantra from #Veneto region, released their debut studio album.

Often referred as Introspezione (the title of the first song), this album aimed to perfectly fuse Classical and Opera (Opus) with Progressive Avant Garde Rock (Avan) and Traditional music (Tra).

#OpusAvantra opera singer Donella Del Monaco is the nephew of 👉 Mario Del Monaco, one of the best and most famous Italian tenors.

The band became also one of the few in #Italy to be associated with Rock In Opposition movement (#RIO) started in the UK by 👉 Henry Cow.

In this album:
#DonellaDelMonaco − vocals
#AlfredoTisocco − keyboards
#LucianoTavella − flute
#PierdinoTisato − drums
#EnricoProfessione, #PieregidioSpiller − violin

Addtional musician
#TonyEsposito (yes, the one of "Kalimba De Luna", 1984) − percussions
