Japan hosted the traditional βNaked Festivalβ β bare-chested participants gathered at Saidaiji Temple to catch two sacred wooden sticks. It is believed that whoever succeeds will receive good fortune for the entire year. The festival has nearly 600 years of history.
Only a few people touch the sticks. Everyone else just survives the experience.
