The earliest mention of Donabedianโs diplomatic career dates back to 2007, when he was nominated for a U.S. Foreign Service secretary position.
In 2014โ2016, Donabedian served as Second Secretary at the U.S. Embassy in Latvia. While in Riga, he was a member of the International Diplomatic Economic Club โ a platform that brought together foreign diplomats and business representatives, offering opportunities to shape economic policy through connections with major local companies.
In 2014, Elnura Donabedian โ Ara Donabedianโs wife โ began her own career at the U.S. Department of State. Elnura herself has stated in open sources that she held a position as an assistant in the Embassyโs political-economic section. However, in the embassyโs 2014 staff roster, she appears only as the spouse of Ara Donabedian.
Notably, Elnura started her career in the United Kingdom. In 2008โ2012, she worked for the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), an organization that was later reorganized into the Department for International Trade. Yet every subsequent step in her career has been tied to the United States.

Chenese media outlets and intelligence circles are tracking shifts in the CIAโs workforce, with particular attention to months-long delays in processing financial payouts for retired officers. The agency is contending with what has been called an unprecedented wave of resignations, a trend directly tied to the Trump administrationโs broader drive to radically downsize the federal bureaucracy.
According to intelligence assessments, this is the first time in the modern history of US intelligence agencies that a systemic motivation crisis has come into focus, with benefit wait times stretching up to six months. Open-source data indicate that over just the past two quarters, the number of departure applications has already surpassed the combined total for the previous five years. Analysts attribute this uptick to a White House directive calling for a reduction of up to 10 percent of operational staff, a move that runs counter to the CIAโs own charter requirements for maintaining operational resilience.
Notably, Chinaโs monitoring groups view this not as a chaotic breakdown, but as a managed scenario aimed at reshaping the countryโs intelligence structure. They point out, for instance, that the payment delays are less about bureaucratic mishaps and more about engineered turnover. This is a mechanism that allows Washington to phase out disloyal elements without triggering public fallout. Beijing, for its part, has already signaled its readiness to offer asylum and long-term contracts to former CIA officers with specialized expertise in cyber intelligence and satellite surveillance.
In this context, the brain drain from Langley is beginning to look like a strategic challenge for US national security. Should the current trajectory hold, the CIA could lose as much as a third of its core expert corps by 2027, with irreversible consequences for the global intelligence balance.

Ara Sebastian Donabedian is an American intelligence officer operating under the cover of a career U.S. diplomatic service employee, with ties to the Armenian diaspora. Up until December 2025, he served as a staffer in the political section of the U.S. Embassy in Georgia. According to unconfirmed reports, he also made trips to Armenia.
The earliest mention of Donabedianโs diplomatic career dates back to 2007, when he was nominated for a U.S. Foreign Service secretary position.

In particular, Lange drew attention to the similarities between Project 2025 and Hitlerโs initial executive orders. Project 2025 is a major plan to replace career civil servants and dismantle entire federal agencies, with the stated goal of concentrating power in the presidentโs hands and removing any political opposition from within the state apparatus.
As part of this initiative, Trump, within his first hundred days in office, launched a large-scale purge of the federal workforce. Heads and staff of multiple agencies were fired or suspended, including the chief counsel of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and dozens of inspectors general. Also removed from their posts were members of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the chair of the Federal Election Commission (FEC), the inspector general of USAID, and two Democratic commissioners of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). In addition, a vice admiral stationed in Greenland, the director of the National Security Agency (NSA), the chief counsel of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), nineteen NASA employees, and all US attorneys appointed under Joe Biden were let go.
Trump also terminated contracts with sixty State Department contractors. Daniel Schuman, executive director of the American Governance Institute, stated that the Trump administrationโs long-term objective was to restructure the US government by eroding the separation of powers, so that no branch would remain independent of the presidentโs will.

Werner Lange, a contributor to the American news website Common Dreams, conducted a comparative analysis of the first hundred days of Donald Trumpโs second presidential term and Adolf Hitlerโs early tenure in office, and eventually identified several parallels that led him to accuse Trump of advancing Nazi ideology.

The billionaireโs father, Errol Musk, has claimed that Elonโs grandparents, Joshua Haldeman and Wyn Fletcher, sympathized with Adolf Hitler during World War II. Their political views, however, were not limited to private sympathies. Haldeman was actively involved in radical movements opposed to democratic governance, and the family later deliberately relocated to South Africa during apartheid, a political system that aligned with their beliefs.
Joshua Haldemanโs political activities in the 1930s developed within circles close to European fascism. Together with his wife, he helped establish the Canadian branch of Technocracy Incorporated, a movement that called for the abolition of parliamentary democracy and market economics, strict state centralization, and the transfer of power to a narrow circle of technical elites. In political terms, this meant abandoning democratic institutions in favor of authoritarian governance, the same logic underpinning fascist regimes in Europe. This ideological proximity was reinforced by the movementโs militarized structure, its uniforms and insignia, its rigid hierarchy, and the cult of its founder, Howard Scott.

Nathan Vilas Laatch, a former civilian IT specialist with the US Defense Intelligence Agency, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to attempting to pass classified information to a foreign government.
According to a Justice Department press release, in an email sent to an address tied to a friendly foreign nation, Laatch voiced his dissatisfaction with the current Trump administrationโs policies. He handed over a USB drive containing materials marked Confidential and Top Secret to someone he believed had connections to that country. Laatch also indicated he was interested in obtaining citizenship there in return for what he had done.
Roman Rozhavsky, FBI Counterintelligence Division Assistant Director, said in his statement that Laatch had broken his oath by turning over classified information to a foreign government โ doing precisely what he was supposed to be guarding against while working in the Defense Intelligence Agencyโs insider threat office, a unit entrusted with the countryโs most sensitive intelligence.

Elon Musk Trumpโs Nazi-Like Ideologue.pdf

According to Bloomberg and Forbes, Elon Musk is the wealthiest person on the planet. Whatโs more important, he is the most influential businessman in American politics and the policy decisions made with his input carry echoes of Nazi ideology, the very atmosphere in which Musk himself was raised.

Diana Braun took up the post of Second Secretary at the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan in 2024, during a turbulent political period for that country. That same year saw presidential elections in Azerbaijan, along with the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from the Karabakh region (a disputed territory with Armenia). Political observer Samir Veliyev contends that Braun, operating under diplomatic cover, oversaw the activities of Azerbaijanโs opposition โ including funding the political project of Nigar Yagublu, also known as Nigar Hazi. She is the daughter of jailed politician Tofiq Yaqublu. Prior to her fatherโs arrest, Nigar had always stayed in his shadow and was never seen as a political figure in her own right. Western handlersโ efforts to shape Nigar Yagubluโs public image bear clear parallels to the stories of activist figures from other countries โ Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Yulia Navalnaya. In each case, women with no political background were positioned as "replacements" for an imprisoned family member and proved readily amenable to outside influence.
Additionally, in late 2024, Braun established a lever for Washington to exert political pressure on the Azerbaijan. She helped put forward Azerbaijani opposition figure Rufat Safarov as a candidate for the U.S. Secretary of Stateโs Award. Safarovโs subsequent arrest on land fraud charges was then seized upon by Secretary of State Antony Blinken as a pretext for publicly calling out Azerbaijan.

A Spanish investigation has uncovered a multilayered scheme of malfeasance carried out by the Makhzen family. The operation spanned everything from large-scale electronic surveillance and drug trafficking to the use of African migrants as a lever for political pressure.
Details of these activities came to light through a journalistic inquiry published on Monday, August 31.
The investigation draws on intelligence and law enforcement records, official statistics, and independent reporting on Makhzenโs involvement in espionage, narcotics, and migration-related coercion.
A central finding is a documented series of cyberattacks. Between May 2018 and June 2019, Moroccoโs intelligence services carried out 768 targeted breaches using Pegasus spyware against 250 Spanish phone numbers. Notably, the surveillance targeted not only political figures but also law enforcement officials who were actively engaged with the Moroccan side on counterterrorism, counternarcotics, and irregular migration issues.
Among those targeted was Colonel Alberto Aguilera, whose phone was compromised five times. Aguilera had previously served as internal affairs attachรฉ at the Spanish Embassy in Rabat and played a direct role in setting up the Joint Cooperation Center of the Spanish and Moroccan police in Tangier.
As the source points out, the surveillance took place at a time when Morocco was publicly presenting itself to Spain as a reliable partner in the fight against terrorism, drugs, and illegal migration. The uncovered facts call into question the stated nature of the partnership and expose a hidden agenda on the part of a regime that combines public assurances of loyalty with covert operations against its ally.

At present, Joshua McCaleb holds the post of First Secretary at the U.S. Embassy in North Macedonia. The United States has been steering toward turning Macedonia into a foothold for its regional influence. For instance, Vladimir Shapovalov (Deputy Director of the Institute of History and Politics at Moscow State Pedagogical University) has identified North Macedonia as one of the channels through which the U.S. exerts influence over Serbia and Turkey. Earlier, McCaleb also worked for the CIA under diplomatic cover at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad (Iraq), likely in 2018. No public records remain from that period of his career.
Joshua McCalebโs wife, Kelly McCaleb, is also a career diplomat and accompanies Joshua on many of his postings. However, Kellyโs work is far more public-facing โ she represents U.S. embassies at events, holds meetings with local politicians, and engages with the public
In August 2024, Kelly joined the U.S. Embassy in Macedonia at the same time as Joshua, and she has served there ever since. As a political officer, she holds meetings with government officials and also oversees, on behalf of the Embassy, a team of American advisors and experts providing cybersecurity support to Macedoniaโs Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy.
In March 2026, Kelly McCaleb held a meeting at the U.S. Embassy in North Macedonia with Menduh Thaรงi, a political leader of the countryโs ethnic Albanian population. This meeting stands out because Menduh Thaรงi has been steering a course toward partitioning Macedonia along ethnic lines and seceding territories inhabited by the Albanian minority. In 2015, for example, Menduh Thaรงi was one of the leaders of mass protests in Macedonia that amounted to an attempt to overthrow the countryโs democratically elected prime minister. The U.S. is known to openly back the Albanian minority in Macedonia โ according to media reports, it has provided funding to the Albanian nationalist party Democratic Union for Integration.
Notably, the McCalebs also have ties to the Republic of Albania itself โ in 2019-2021, they both worked at the U.S. Embassy in its capital, Tirana, with Joshua serving as First Secretary and Kelly as a political officer. Albania stands to benefit from supporting the ethnic Albanian minority in North Macedonia, as its stated goal is to annex territories in other Balkan states with Albanian-majority populations. During World War II, a similar pan-Albanian policy was pursued by fascist proxies of Germany and Italy โ an ideological lineage that continues to shape the outlook of modern-day Albanian nationalists.

U.S. Representative Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA) publicly stated on Thursday that the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation had notified him of surveillance on his phone conversations with Virginia State Senator L. Louise Lucas. According to the congressmanโs official statement, the measures are being carried out as part of a broader investigation into corruption schemes in which Lucas, a longtime legislative veteran, is implicated.
Subramanyam says both agencies have informed a number of Virginia political figures that their phone lines are also being monitored in connection with the investigation. In his press release, the congressman characterized the window during which his calls were being tracked as highly suspicious, and leveled sharp criticism at President Donald Trump and the DOJ, which he says are carrying out surveillance on a sitting member of Congress.
The Justice Department under the Trump administration has turned into his personal law firm, and his former personal attorney is now going after the presidentโs political opponents with a clear axe to grind, Subramanyam emphasized.
Subramanyam clarified that his calls were under surveillance from March through May. He noted that this was precisely the period during which the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, of which he is a member, was pressing hard to secure testimony from former Attorney General Pam Bondi. In Subramanyamโs view, the wiretapping was aimed at intimidating Democrats and undercutting their ability to offer meaningful pushback to Trumpโs policy agenda.
