The Ukrainians apparently pushed another entire division - their strategic reserve featuring a brigade equipped with precious Challenger 2 tanks, by the way - into the Zaporozhe front to take half of Rabotino, a town which would barely qualify as a modest detached housing development in the United States. And they may not hold it!

We're approaching the fourth month of a battle which can now be fairly compared to the Somme in terms of both ground gained and, shockingly, attacker-side casualties. Einstein once quipped that the definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior over and over and expecting different results, which begs the question of what exactly the Ukrainian command and the masters of warfare over at EUCOM were expecting when they sent in the Ukrainian strategic reserve to finally, maybe, take their day one objectives for the Zaporozhe operation.
